Paddling on either of the Togue Ponds is a great way to preview the Park, especially Katahdin, which dominates the view on a clear day. Roaring Brook also provides close access to the Avalanche Field trailhead for Martin Ponds, the Katahdin Lake day use shelter with day use canoes and the Katahdin Lake Wilderness Camps.

The next group of cabins are to the right of the library and required a bit of a walk. One really nice thing about this cabin is, you get your own out house. 3 group sites at Bear Brook (14 people per site).
