Winter Flatbread with shrimp was very good (though there really should be one piece of shrimp for each slice of pizza even if it's a half piece of shrimp), calamari was excellent and the short rib arancini balls are worth the trip alone. It was one of the items on the menu when we went New Years Eve, so of course I ordered it. With the dessert was also 2 shots of some chocolate drink. Food is good. Food was not served piping hot, some areas were hot, the top piece was warm, potatoes room temp and spinach was hot. Thanks for such a great evening with my Mom , We dined with a couple who had never been here. Celebrated moms 81st birthday. Overall, it was a nice dinner, but for $360 (including tip) for 7 people, I expected better. We just said fine, but again I was very disappointed in the quality of the food and for $85 a plate I expected, a better quality in the entres. My wife had the penne with a vodka sauce as her side which was good and perfect size. Another of us had a veal dish, and another, the special, a Seafood Pesto Pescatore, over pappardelle. Marlton: 856-267-5767 Collingswood: 856-858-1700. I ordered the winter bread appetizer which was very good. The gnocchi that I had was not the usual quality that this restaurant offers the consistency and the flavoring lacked the usual outstanding gnocchis that I get when I go there, I also always order the short ribs with mashed potatoes and root vegetables and have always been very pleased with how delicious it is. I must make mention of the girls at the desk, they keep making sure people are advised of their wait time and table expected to be ready. Party venues to party of two all are welcomed for a great evening in Collingswood. We were the second couple standing there waiting to be seated, ww were told 20 mins or so, in comes about 4 more groups so a total of 6 parties waiting to be seated. We've been regulars for many years, and what distinguishes this bistro is the consistant quality of the food, the service, the ambiance--the whole experience. They also recently cleared out the first room so no one eats in there and I think it looks weird. In the warmer Seasons the outdoor patio is a treat. As always the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Also featuring an outdoor courtyard with a Chef behind The Grill! Located in Collingswood, New Jersey, Bistro Di Marino serves rustic Italian fare under owner and executive chef, James Marino. This was my first time going here. All in all, I might to a take out order or perhaps dine outside when weather permits, but will not be making reservations for inside the restaurant. Cannellini beans saut with broccoli rabe and spicy Italian sausage. The entire restaurant was empty. Overall, it was a nice dinner, but for $360 (including tip) for 7 people, I expected better. Great food & great service. Prices about the same or a little more than other Italian restaurants in area. Recommended Side:Garlic mashed potatoes. Service, staff, food top notch! However, I can say with all honesty that the food and service were consistently AMAZING! My husband ordered chicken parm which you would think is an easy go to entree so how could it be bad? The food especially the 2 specials (app and entree) were delicious. Will be frequenting there in the future!!! Also, it was undercooked since it was New Years Eve, and our waitress was so pleasant when she asked us how was everything? Another had the chicken parmigiana and the 4th had the veal Milanese. We waited in the crowded entrance and after only 15 minutes they sat us. Server came over to fill water and open our wine, while telling specials, couldnt hear him at all. Yes, you can generally book this restaurant by choosing the date, time and party size on OpenTable. Not sure if the seating problem was a combo of over booking and bad hostess managing - Just hope they fix that problem soon. NEVER did the waiter ask how our food was or refill drinks, we had to ask and our water still wasnt filled. Roasted Potatoes, 492 Haddon Avenue The manager Eddie was extremely hospitable too! Even thought they were busy they didnt rush the food. The real question, would we return - definitely, although that will likely be after the upcoming seasonal menu change. Food was excellent. As usual, the food was amazing!! This time the food was horrible. However, our dinner party of four was unaware that this establishment charged customers a three percent fee for using a credit card! Loved the gnocchi entree I had and my husband enjoyed the salmon entree. Our professional staff works tirelessly to make sure your affair is one to remember handling every last detail from set-up to clean-up. Food was hot, delicious and plentiful!! The gnocchis and the veal dishes are their specialties, but almost everything on the menu will please. The server was also good. We waited in the crowded entrance and after only 15 minutes they sat us. Good food & service. I must make mention of the girls at the desk, they keep making sure people are advised of their wait time and table expected to be ready. TueFri 12:0016:00 Great service from the staff. Food was delicious, staff were friendly, atmosphere was perfect. Even our food we got catered for Christmas Eve wasn't what we expect from here. The manager was attentive addressing the problem, so we will likely try the restaurant again since he gave us a gift certificate to return. The food was great, especially the mussels and the halibut. Great waitstaff. You cant go wrong but make reservations. Service was great and the food was hot and delicious!! When sprite came it had something floating in it. We had a great time at Bistro Di Marino. I have been here both for a night out at dinner, and also for company Christmas parties. This was a Friday and 5pm. Mussels in red sauce were delicious. Service great. The server was also good. 415 Egg Harbor Rd, Sewell, NJ 08080 Neighbourhood Sewell Cross Street Egg Harbor Rd.<br />Greentree Rd. Sat us 15 minutes past our reservation - Also had much confusion with hostesses which started our night there in a bad note. Food was not served piping hot, some areas were hot, the top piece was warm, potatoes room temp and spinach was hot. In fact, only mildly warm and not palatable. They offer several different flavors and sauce selections. We watched 4 tables walk out in an hour. And the food took FOREVER to come out. When we came back we had to ask about ordering drinks, we had 2 kids (who order adult meals) so asked about milk and sprite. Bit disappointed, last visit was outstanding, this just ok. Im from out of state and was taking my mom out to dinner on a visit. Shortly after apps were removed dinners arrived. The staff are pleasant but it was a Wednesday at 530pm and the service was extremely slow! Everyone enjoyed their meals, but I was a little bummed that the shrimp appetizer we ordered was 4 of the smallest shrimp you'd ever see wrapped in a thin piece of bacon. Love our waitress -great service-fab food. Was very upset to book here and see nothing about a $75 per person price fix menu with only 3 dinner options. As elusive as the origins of the meatball may be, one thing is for certain Italian-American cuisine owes much of its popularity to this tasty, spherical creation. Good vibes. Our server, Joseph, was spot on and our busybody Mason also covered us excellently. Thanks for such a great evening with my Mom , We dined with a couple who had never been here. For the main coarse I ordered the filet and it was great. Could not have a conversation could not hear the server with the specials. Great food! Definitely need a reservation! The staff are pleasant but it was a Wednesday at 530pm and the service was extremely slow! Great place. Food was delicious, staff were friendly, atmosphere was perfect. Nothing at all. Shortly after apps were removed dinners arrived. After 30 minutes, no call or text so we went back in. Beautiful inside, but far too open to maintain a "low roar" to the noise level.
